Rooster Coffee House - Café with the best skyline view - Toronto
Toronto is no stranger to independent coffee houses. One of my favourites not only has amazing coffee, but the best view of the Toronto Skyline in the city!
Situated in the east side of the Don Valley, on Broadview Avenue, this little café is has fresh ground coffee, light lunches and an assortment of treats (including free doggie treats!)
The interior decor is cosy with white subway tiles, eclectic art and a kitschy chandeliers. There's plenty of seating to see and be seen.

When the weather is good, definitely head outside to the front patio and enjoy one of the best views of Toronto's skyline.

Or better yet, cross the street and find a nice place on the sloped grass of East Riverdale Park. This sloping park are the once banks of the Don River (it is not much more than a creek now.)

I went with my stand-up comic buddy David MacLean and enjoyed a near perfect day ("Near Perfect" because I was with David, after all.)
The Verdict
A great place to both "see" the city and escape from it! Enjoy!
