Pintxos Passport Review - Exploring the Ultimate Foodie Capital - San Sebastián, Spain
For years I had been hearing about San Sebastián, Spain (called Donostia in the local Basque tongue). Everyone, without exception, raved at how amazing the food was, so this was a trip I had to make!
What is notable about the food in San Sebastián? Firstly, it is home to a large number of Michelin stared restaurants. (To read my review of the tasting menu at 3 Michelin star restaurant Akelare click here.)
Secondly, San Sebastián features small plates and skewered bites (similar to tapas) called pintxos, which are highlighted at the bars of the Old Quarter.
